Franz Erhard Walther - "IMAGE ENGINE INGLUENCES", Villa FEW

We are pleased to announce a solo exhibition of Franz Erhard Walther at the Villa FEW, from October 13th, 2024 to March 9th, 2025.

Every work of art is preceded by a time in which the surrounding influences, the visual and intellectual impressions provide the material basis of an artistic cosmos that initially goes without name.

This exhibition brings together various aspects that were of importance to Franz Erhard Walther in the decisive years between 1957 and 1960, and that became the material for developing an oeuvre that, a few years later, gained a definition that remains valid to this day.
